Search engine marketing (SEM) is a form of Internet marketing that involves the promotion of websites by increasing their visibility in search engine results pages (SERPs) through optimization and advertising. SEM may use search engine optimization (SEO), which adjusts or rewrites website content to achieve a higher ranking in search engine results pages, or use pay per click (PPC) listings.

SEM is a highly effective form of advertising which directly targets your audience based on their location, interests, behaviors and income. SEM is relatively inexpensive compared to other forms of advertising including print media and television.

For instance, we recently managed an advertising campaign on Facebook for Medical Learning Center in Arlington which reached over 3,000 locals interested in nursing and nursing school. The advertisement instantly generated scores of leads any one of which paid for the advertising and also helped search engine optimization so that other potential students can more readily find the school in searches online.
